he's on a pace to match his career high. He might be on roids tho, he's an old man, he sure isn't hitting like he's on roids. I guess you still need skill to hit that lil white ball, huh..

Shit, maybe AJ is juicing. The shot he hit the other night was CRAZY. First time EVER anybody hit a ball in the upper deck to leftfield at Turner Field. Yeah... EVER. He just smashed one. He's sure hitting the ball hard though. With his stance widened he has SO much more balance than he used to. He's hitting balls Sheffield style... might be the best fastball hitter in the MLB.

I've heard quite a few say that and mention him with the best fastball hitters... but then they quickly bring up the fact that he can't hit a curveball to save his life. So it evens out :(

to some degree... yeah. he can just simply crank a fastball but damnit i get pissed at those outside curveball whiffs... much better this year though. his widened stance has helped a lot. i don't know how he'll do in the HR derby if he gets invited as i don't know if they'll be throwing it in fast enough. off speed is not a good thing in Andruw's book...
