Here is a pic of the carb i just got. It is a 41mm mx style fcr modified by Baldwin. It comes with a adapter already on it, and tps switch ready to go as well. I got it for 350 shipped from a member on the trx450r.org site. I figured I couldn't pass up that deal, seeing what they go for on ebay.
What do you think of this deal???
Thats cool how it already has the adapter on it. I'm not sure what the 41s go for, but my FCR 39 was about $200 or so off of ebay. It wasn't in perfect condition but Ben was able to get it working just fine.

KBR Sells the kit. It is a Nmotion cylinder, with a Venom Black widow(VCP) 14.25:1 piston. The bore is now a 97mm, instead of a 94mm. And the crank gets 3mm stroke added to it.
I would love to see St. Anthony, but my money after LS will be tight. Plus, that's way to long for me to drive. Heck, I might as well go out and see my brother in Portland Oregon if i was going to go that far.

there is a 41mx on ebay store right now for 475, and one for 600 buy it now. My stock carb is a 42mm. I got this so i could make it a 43mm bore. I was told that with the 501 kit, the 43mm was the " Only " way to go.

Running a black widow too? Damn, you're going to have one hell of runner on your hands. Oh I said the same thing too about the drive at first. Haha, we'll wait and see what happens...

I'd say thats a helluva good deal then. You're also going from a round to a flat-slide right? (Pete will correct if wrong. He's been trying to get CBerg to get rid of his gay carb). Even if it was a 42 that FCR would be a lot better, I bet.

450michigan who will be going with us to LS, also is building this kit as we speak. I would consider St. Anthony maybe next year, but there is no way my wife will allow it this year.

Want me to give away all the secrets????? I just hope that the piston will be in before end of March. It's going to be scary close to LS trip. Everything else will be done by then, just piston arrival is what i need.
Secrets are gay. Its not like anyone is going to think you have a stock motor if you're doing real well. Then again, there are a few others on this site who are guilty of secret-keeping as well (PETE DUSTY)... what you talkin 'bout Willis? All my mods are on the readers rides page. the stock carb on the '04 and '05 R's is a gay oval slide vacuum operated 42mm. The FCR (even a 39mm) helps the bike out so much. See Chris, Brad got an FCR, now you need to as well.

My stocker has a Butterfly, and a vacuum lift in it. The FCR, will remove the butterfly, and just be a flat slide. Should improve it alot with a bigger motor. I had a fcr before i did any mods, and didn't notice any difference at all, then I sold it, but with my new set up coming, I can see where it would be almost a definite have to have it type of thing.

But I remember you letting us in at silver lake, in September, that Dusty's head was ported after you guys had raced it a couple of times.

Here is a pic of a similar swinger i will be getting. The flames on the housing will be on mine. This is the drag swinger(thinner wall), I will be getting their heaviest wall swinger, to allow for my trail riding. But I will be getting the triple chrome just like in the pics. This is a T-DUB swinger, that comes with a lifetime warranty. If i bend or break it, they will give me a new one.

So who makes the kit? What compression? Man, if you did all of that for LS, I'm scared to think of what you'd do if you went to Idaho. I don't know, with a bike like that, I don't see how you couldn't... Can't you hear St.Anthony calling?! How can you turn this down? Man, those pictures are depressing. DANNY, now I have to go change my pants... IDAHO
