broke my left case on a 20 shot after about 10 passes.  But those 10 passes were definitely SWEET!!!!  Motor to motor with a turbo raptor 700 with 10-11 psi boost he would have me by 7-8 lengths at the long strip.  I would have him out of the hole til about 200 feet then he would just fly by me on the top end.  BUT, when I sprayed, he was no contest.  That thing is like a whole new quad on the funny gas.  I am hooked.

Quad is 3/4 tore down, and will be tearing apart the engine tomorrow. Now I just have to find out why she broke, and hopefully it's just a simple thing.  Motor still ran, in fact i fired it up to find out where it was leaking.  So hopefully it's just the case.

I plan on taking out 4 degrees of timing across the entire rpm range, or at least that was what i was told to do.

sounds like it blew the welds on the intake, and then your diamond plate floor board fell off

the crack is right in front of the shift shaft on the vertical part of the case.  Funny thing is, i've been told that there isn't much there on the inside,,,, unless it came from somewhere else and spread there.  Don't see a crack on the right side though that is obvious.  I did have oil coming out the hole on right side of the head where you can blow out the spark plug before taking it out   Why that is i have no clue.  Al thinks it is a dirty breather tube filter.  But who knows.

I just hope it didn't grenade the whole engine, or I will have to sell all my good stuff to cberg and part this thing.

Oil weep from that hole isnt too uncommon in my experience.  The tube is press-fit into the head and sometimes starts to get loose.  I havent found an effective repair.  As long as its just a weep and not a drip, run it...

I tried gooping some JB weld around the base of the tube but theres too much expansion contraction for it to hold well enough.  I tried taking one out of a junk head and gooping it up to press it back in...but removal was ummmm problematic (got ruined in the process of removal basically)...

new case on the way, and ron hamp is ordering me a set of new pistons made by JE.  Hope to be back up in time for memorial weekend's race.

Nitrous is a goner for me.  Or at least the 20 shot is.  Havent figured that one out yet.  Prob sell it though as it puts me at the limit of the honda cases.  Don't want catastrophic failure every 10-20 passes.

going to step up the fuel though to a better fuel.  Might get 3 extra hp there.

Yea, I was thinking of the green loc-tite.  I've used it for all kinds of stuff like that.
