yet another encounter with Joe Law today, this time in Danbury.  $181 ticket for 'riding in the vicinity of a county highway'

damn, what a crime to ride in the ditch of a highway.  What a joke.  He did us a huge favor in letting us split the ticket.

Oh, and Chris..

NO MORE OF THIS SPEEDING CRAP.  YOU WERE DOING ALMOST 50 MPH!!!!!

yea your front fender says DO NOT OPERATE ON PAVED SURFACES, yet he told us we could, so it must be OK I guess?  Nazi fother mucker.  I respect the job cops do, but when they resort to bothering the general public and giving us a hard time when there are 10000 other more productive things they could do, then they become piggy donut eating fags.

we're really not sure.  All of these signs all of a sudden popped up this weekend that weren't there last weekend.  It seemed like a 'pay your taxes' weekend to me.

You should investigate that bitch a litlte more.  Maybe it was BS.  I suppose you're supposed to know every rule in the world, but it's damn hard.  Of course, if it's an area that you often hit, I guess maybe you should know the rules.  Still... tickets blow goat ass...

that was the cops 'reasoning' is that we should know every rule.  Apparently the speed limit on paved roads in the township is also 20 mph for ATVs.  This is posted no where but there was another cop at the end of a straight away radaring everyone.  After getting stopped  thatby dickhead we decided to head back to the parking lot, load up, and get the hell out of there before we got 'caught' doing anything else supposedly illegal.

I'd guess you can fight that one bro.  If it's not posted, are you supposed to get a handbook or something of every townships rules before you ride?  Sounds a little fishy...  sounds like someone had a quota to fill...

10x the normal people up there, oh yea, the cops were out to make some money for the township and county, thats for damn sure.  I'm not really pissed about the ticket, I'm pissed its 181 bucks.  I can drive my car 100 mph and probably get a ticket about that.  Bastards.

they wrote me for it, since Chris' bike doesn't even have a license plate. heh.  At least it doesn't go on my driving record, or I would have flat hulked out.
