Siebert has a very nice playing surface, but the rest of the stadium is run down. The U really needs to do a little remodeling, painting etc. I won't ever forget jacking one way out of there to right field and having it roll all the way across the football practice field.

I was over there a few months ago and it does look a little rundown now. It used to be SOOOO nice. That was in the Gophs big stretch where they won big ten titles left and right though I think. I played with Brent Gates at camp, dude could hit. Best player I've ever seen that never amounted to crap was Billy Mobilia. Dude used to play short 4 feet on the grass and the 1B still had a hard time catching his throws. Amazing. I have tons of stories from camp... those were the days. |
