what do you think of the two-touch rule? when the ball touches the bat/batter twice, and he is out. such as just a moment ago when the twins batter hit a foul, and had it bounce off his bat, and maybe his body too, in his batdrop/run to first?

I was at the game and didn't even notice it. For a second I was wondering wtf happened and the guy behind me said it hit him.

It was hard to see live, but it did hit his bat on the way down. The bat was out of his hand though.
I think its a good rule. You cant have guys taking two swings at a ball.

if it is just to keep a batter from swinging twice, why not make a rule that says "a batter may not swing at a ball twice"

It basically goes along the same rule that a base runner cannot interfere with the ball.
