I had a freind go to silverlake for the weekend after 3 days of strong wind made the dunes peaked almost straight up and down on both sides made for a good time i wish i had the weekend off to go up there

When we were there for Memorial Day weekend, we noticed test hill and finish hill SEEMED taller.... Plus we NEVER noticed it before, but as you drive along the lake to the dune entrance , you can SEE finish hill OVER the trees now.... I HAVE a picture, But the "Gary O & S" syndrome has set in!  |

i agree, the hills did seem taller, and you could deffinatly call test hill and most of the hills for that matter "peaked." if you were going to jump, you'd better make sure you knew what spot to jump, lol some spots on test hill i know had a double hump almost going down the backside right were most would land on a little jump.

and when were you at SL? brad and me were there today ,the 16th. the flat area was crap to drag on ,ya you could get a good 300' run then you'd hit a big speed bump, then another and another . it was funny watching the trucks ,they did not know what they were in for, not many raced more than once. |

Dragstrip is horrible--- big berms that you launch off of, and major whooped out----SUCKS BAD.

I went down the flat one time and that was enough for me. I didnt understand why they kept racing there instead of moving to the flat by the beach. That flat was perfect except for the little whoops at the end.

sand was great, dragstrip wasnt bad at all for me anyway, most stocker suspention looked like they were getting bucked a little but it was smooth sailing for i.... till i shattered my left case. but its all ready fro this comming weekend. anyone going to be there?

i will definatly be there! look for the blue honda 450r out there, all blue, black frame, chrome, cant miss it. (hint, look for the leader of all the 4-stroke drags side,lol), flag me down and say hi.
and for the case, i have no clue, put a horizontal crack through the middle of the whole case, around the main bearing and almost long enough to make the left case completly 2 pieces. but i am blaming it on my shorted out dynatek ignition. the box shorted out and caused some sputter at mid-high rpm and i think i had some slight pre-ignition problems. so i will be running the stock box for the trip wich sux cause i can ride the rev limiter on that in 5th on the drag strip and i like to live in the higher rpm.
