This movie fucking rocked!  I cannot believe how good it turned out.  Definitely the best CGI in any movie ever.  The transformations were so seamless.

I think I might have to go buy the PS3 game today.  Its all about transformers now!

It comes out on blu-ray/hd-dvd on December 4th....
I have heard bad things about the game, just so you know.

They have already begun to sign for Transformers 2.  Shia lebouf and megan fox are resigned.  If they get Michael bay again i can see another bad ass movie being made.

As a kid i watched every transformer cartoon and had every single toy.  I didnt pay much attention to the movie and i dont remember seeing any teasers.  Im very glad i saw it though.

Awesome.  Yeah, I hope Michael Bay signs on.  The movie flowed really well and was cool and funny without being corny.

I really want to see it, mostly because I'm a huge fan of Shia LaBeouf, but now after what you guys are saying I can't wait!

YAY TRANSFORMERS
Quote
'Transformers' Fires Up Best Fourth Ever

THURSDAY AM: Paramount's official Transformers number for Wednesday is $29.1 mil from 4,011 North American theaters -- which means the DreamWorks battle of the bots recorded the best gross ever for a Fourth Of July. It also recorded the biggest Wednesday non-sequel of all time, beating The Passion Of The Christ ($26.5M on Wednesday February 25, 2004). So now its cume is $65.7 million for the first 2 1/2 days of release since Monday night. Until now, Spider-Man 2 held the record for the holiday ($21.9 mil on July 4, 2004, or down 35% from the previous day). Transformers' receipts actually went up 4.3% from Tuesday to Wednesday, something that never happens on July 4th when outdoor activities usually rule. But rainy weather in the East helped fill seats for the Michael Bay-directed, Steven Spielberg-supervised pic.

So it pulled in over 60 million in just a couple days (and I thought the real release wasn't until the fourth?).  Its going to pull in a ton more this weekend.  Here's for hoping it breaks 100 mil!

Nothing about this movie was adequate, it was all very good, IMO.  I really enjoyed it.

this movie freaking kicked ass.  It was a bit short on plot, but who cares with all the sweet CGI!  Oh, and I'm with Jer, Megan Fox is freaking hawwwwwwt, the scene where she pops the hood on the car...wow...
