Josh, Why not the V-nose?  Those are kinda cool, in that you can have a man door on one side of V and still be able to get inside of it when the trailer is loaded.

oops kinda came out wrong, I would get the V, it would just be 22' not including it.  The Legend enclosed I had dubbed itself a 17', but 3' of that was the V, so it was really a 14' footer.

I would still have a hard time buying a steel enclosed since they still are going to corrode.  Aluminum siding riveted to steel frame.. no good.  Should see some of the trailers that come in for DOT stickers.... rivets rot right through the side of the trailer.

I was reading on Glamisdunes.com about some company that was using a composite wall panel that was structural as well as siding that used 90degree channel at the top for the roof panel, 1" thick and very strong. Military uses it too I guess. supposed to be incredibly strong - Sounds like a great material for trailers. I'll see if I can dig up that thread again and find out what company makes it or what trailer places use it.

The only thing that keeps me wanting aluminum is the wieght factor since thats the number one thing when it comes to fuel milage. Next truck is going to be a long box thats for sure.  I wish you could get a longbox with an additional tank on the other side or something, Oh wait thats right that have to put that 30 gallon drum of a particulate filter somewhere... jerkoff

you can get aux. tanks aftermarket. Transfer Flow is probably the best quality stuff out there. I would love to have the 57gal replacement tank and extend my fill ups by 200 miles :)
