We regret having to inform you about an unfortunate incident. Beginning on Sunday, June 24 we began to experience hardware difficulties on mysql15.opentransfer.com which is where one or more of your mySQL databases were being hosted. Unfortunately we were unable to recover from these difficulties which resulted in the loss of all data on the server. However, certain accounts were migrated to this machine from other servers. Fortunately, we were able to recover backups from those other machines but the age of the data may vary. We have decided not to do a mass restore of this data because we realize that you may have a more recent backup. However, if you wish to have this data restored please create a helpdesk ticket identifying which database you prefer to have restored.
We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused you. We have taken additional preventive measures including keeping more than one copy of backups for these servers and adding additional levels of redundancy to the disk subsystems of these servers to ensure this does not happen again in the future. We are offering hosting credit as compensation which you can request by placing a request using our helpdesk to our billing department.
