digtal video and firewire

my initial impressions on playing with this tonight is its very easy to setup and configure if you're even half there when it comes to computers. After playing with Windows Movie Maker for about an hour, I download ULead Video Studio 9.0 and Sony Vegas 6.0, both of which are superior to Windows Movie Maker and easier to use.
I think the key to making good video out of whatever footage you take is to take quality footage to begin with. I think its going to take me quite awhile to filter through all of the video from this past weekend, I have over 4 hours of it...and no offense to Chris, but watching him ride through the dunes and do wheelies is kind of boring, lol.
