I wish the KTM came out last year, then it'd be old enough to have some of the kinks worked out and I'd go for one of those. I'd like to get the orange and black SE YFZ for sure though!!

I did see that Polaris released a 450 with the 450 KTM engine in it.

Regardless, I'd expect the KTM quads to be at least 8,000 and probably more.

Yeah, but you can bet your ass I'd not buy a new quad for another 6 or 7 years if I got one of those bad boys.

Yeah it is, but if I pay $8000 bucks for something, that thing is gonna last. Not gonna happen though. I would never drop that wad of cash on a quad-- especially one that isn't proven yet. I'm thinking definitely the SE YFZ if I can find one.

KTM parts are kind of hard to find and very pricey as well.  I like them but wouldn't consider one for a few years yet.  The YFZ is a proven bike that still wins the 450 shootouts and seems to be the favorite duner out there, so its hard to go wrong with one.

True story. That's why I said that's my first pick. I've liked them since they first came out, especially after I rode yours

For 08 St' A's.  I'm hoping to have a Dasa full exhaust, PCIII, and an intake cam, oh ya, and an oversize gas tank.

The 07 trip worked out real well.  2 weeks vacation in June, then a 2 week forced vacation in early July.  I ended up working 4 days out of 5 weeks.    Man, having backup at work is pretty sweet!!

Sand Hills was 10x better in 07 then 06.  If they can get some decent internet it would be perfect.
