Now that's how you improve a team.  You get a solid, all-around performer in Walker.  You get a good PG who has shown with maturity he's capable of runnng a team in Williams.  And, as a bonus, you get a lock-down defender who can put up points as well.

This is good stuff for the Heat and solid planning.  Wow.

While the jury is still out on Williams, I agree that adding Walker and Posey to the fray is good.  I think Williams is and always will be a head case.  He constantly is putting up bad shots.  But that is my 2 cents on him.  I think Damon Jones is a much better fit at the point on that team as he is just a shooter.  What does the lineup look like then, though?  My guess is Posey is the 6th man.

1 - Jason Williams
2 - Dwayne Wade
3 - Antoine Walker
4 - Udonis Haslem
5 - Shaq

Williams has one of the best assist to turnover ratio in the league, is an assist machine while he's on the court (one of the best per 48 minutes) and really doesn't shoot the ball all that much.  I mean, 10 ppg while throwing out 6 assists would lead you to believe he's getting his team involved.  I'll take that when you've got Walker and Shaq to throw the ball to.  Oh yeah... and Wade :)  I think it's a damn good fit.  Get a guy who likes to push things with plenty of atheltic teammates to play exciting ball.

I just think that Jason can put up some dumb shots and I don't know how good of a fit he is.  He can be very capable, but I think Damon Jones is the better fit.  My 2 cents.
