I agree with Pete. For one reason or another, it wasn't working around here with him. They can go out and get some help in the WR corps through Free Agency which shouldn't be a problem with all that money they have. Probably get some other free agents and then draft for defense and need. They should be fine without him.

Joey Harrington with charles rogers, roy williams, hakim, and a second year kevin jones = a pretty good offense.
Joey harrington = 361 yards against minnesota this year.

I don't see how the Lions will finish ahead of the Vikes just because Moss is gone. He missed a good portion of this year and they still made it to the playoffs. The Vikes have 30 mill in salary cap money and 2 first round draft picks so they should be able to find a decent receiver to help fill the void and bring in some D. They should be able to do some damage next year.

The lions should have beat the vikes and GB both games they played. Next year they will be able to close the deal.
We all saw how well the vikes did with randy not in the game, it was horrible. Its going to be a totally different story for the way defenses match up against the vikes now.
As good as burleson is, hes no deep threat or big play guy like Randy. And he surely doesnt have the ability that Randy has.

Right now, even with the loss of Randy, they are in great position financially to be a major player in Free Agency. 30+ million under the salary cap means they have plenty of dough to add some difference makers to help the defense and someone to help fill the void in the WR corps. I don't see any reason why they won't be just as good if not better next year. But who knows. One player doesn't make the team.
