WTF is going on with Michigan? Oregon is a decent team, but 39-7? Man the Big 10 is in trouble heh. The Gophers lost to a shit kicker team last week too, and barely beat Miami of Ohio in 3 OT's yesterday. Sheesh go big Div 1 schools

Well, Michigan isn't as good as everyone thought and the teams that you mentioned probably aren't as bad as you might think. I would say that the Big 10 probably is down this year a little, compared to last, but they will be fine and represented in several bowls, as always.

The Louisville v. Mid Tenn game was fun to watch...I watched it over most of the NFL opener.
No suprise about Michigan really...Im more suprised that the Ducks could muster up that much scoring...I think there's been far far too much what conf. you're from given to your ranking than actually how good you are...
The shocker for me this weekend- was Washington beating Boise State...I figured that U-dub beating Syracuse was just a fluke and then to knock of BS...but the U-dub is going to get the snot knocked out of them by Ohio State next weekend!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah they are claiming that this year and next are "rebuilding years" since they lost players to the NFL draft...

I like that BS excuse. At major universities like michigan and ND you dont rebuild when you lose players to the draft, you RELOAD. These teams have major depth in all positions. They lose players every year to the draft, its nothing new. ND is just bleh...theyve been that way since lou holtz left. Michigan has all the weapons in the world, they just arent playing well. Carr needs to go.

Carr needs to go. Agreed. He will be gone after this season, I put money on it. I couldn't agree more with the BS about rebuilding, look at the top teams in the nation, I don't see Oklahoma, Ohio State or Texas claiming anything...maybe they have a better recruiting program or something, who knows. The other teams in the Big 10, excluding Ohio State, do need to reload on talent or rethink their coaching situation.. You can't have an "off year" based on how shitty your recruiting program has done. All of the big teams have these bases covered. It was refreshing to see ND back towards the top last year, but I knew it wouldn't last.

Thats the thing, Michigan has one of the best recruiting classes in the country, every year, always has and always will. Same with Notre Dame, especially with Weiss being there now. Thats how they get these preseason rankings, by judging recruiting class, returning starters, etc etc. If i remember right, USC had the number 1 recruiting class this year, and michigan was in the top 5. Hell, USC has NINE RBs on their team. Mallett, whos the starting QB today for michigan was the number 2 high school QB last year behind clausen, whos starting for notre dame today. On top of that, they pulled mallet out of Texas. To get him to come to michigan instead of U of T says alot. Also, clausen picked notre dame over USC. These schools have so much depth it aint funny. They just put another guy in the position and there should be no issues....unless the coaching sucks. I find it funny that Demetrius Jones, who started for Notre Dame in the season opener this year just transferred to Northern Illinois today.
