Well, it appears thast clint's boy kobe was going to be a piston, but he said negative to that with his no trade clause. The guy must be a fool, where else is he going to go and have a chance at a championship?

Minnesota. The Vikings, Timberwolves, and Gophers are all class act contending teams.

Nobody has any clue what's really going on or what's true or not. Ric Bucher, who is SUPPOSED to be the guy with all the legit Kobe stuff that's "straight from his mouth" report that Kobe would not report to training camp, would not play another game as a Laker, and was completely isolating himself from his teammates. None of that has been true. Kobe was in training camp, has played and played VERY well, and his teammates say he's getting the Lakers to be extremely close knit and is tutoring them well. It's all pure speculation right now and no one knows what is truth and what is just pure made up crap.
From all that many of the Laker insiders say is that Kobe and the front office hate each other and there's not much that can be done to fix it. Also, remember, Kobe does want to win, so if he vetoes a trade to the Pistons, he probably didn't see the Pistons as a lucrative contender (because they probably traded too many pieces to get him). Also, there's the camp that believe Kobe simply won't go anywhere and is trying to show the front office he holds the cards.
Regardless, no one really knows what's really going on. I wish I did.... in all honestly, this is an extremely young and talented Laker team. This could be a contender as early as this year if they stay healthy. THey were 26-13 last year until they were decimated by injuries.

Joe D must see something in him that I as a fan do not. I don't see how he will fit into the Piston's team play atmosphere, he seems like a damn ballhog to me. He doesn't have much talent around him now, but there was a rift with him and Shaq based on touches.

I think hed have to distribute the ball here. We have talented veterans who can play, not some young guys who cant play to save their lives.

He's not a ball hog, he does what he has to do for the team to win. He wants to be the leader, but he'll pass to the open man in a heartbeat if he'll hit the shot. The Lakers have played team ball this year and Kobe more than anyone has gotten everyone involved. This year's Laker team is going to live and die with teamwork.... they have so far at least... and they did last year. Kobe and Shaq's issues were not over touches and kobe was not the reason Shaq left. Shaq wanted a max contract and said so in the middle of the season and Jerry Buss, the owner, said NO WAY, period. Shaq said "then I'll leave" and Buss told him to walk. It's been said by Phil and Buss over and over again that Kobe had nothing to do with Shaq's departure... too bad the media decides what is truth and what isn't.

Also note Team USA this year... Bryant wasn't the leading scorer and took no where near the most shots. His roll was lockdown defender and playmaker and leader. They did extremely well........

He's not the one that likes to ride big things that vibrate between his legs.

go Twins! Do we even have sports teams in this state anymore? MN sports can't get a break... Twins two best players (Santana, Hunter) are probably gone, the Wolves haven't won yet (they might some day), the Vikings are possibly going to lose out and just lost their best player in a long time to injury, and the Wild are injured as hell too. jesus........ someone up on a cloud hates us right now.

Money might not buy happiness, but it does buy winning sports teams. MN is so tight they won't spend any money....Just an observation Look how shitty the tigers were, they made some staffing changes up front and leggo of some of that money they are so proud of and look at them now...
