agreed, he should be kept in play somewhere or at least on the team roster. His glove abilities are unmatched, but his bat is a little shaky most of the time.

When did they suck?

Worst Seasons in Detroit Tigers History
Rank    Year    Wins    Losses    Win %
1    2003    43    119    .265
2    1952    50    104    .325
3    1996    53    109    .327
4    2002    55    106    .342
5    1975    57    102    .358

I'd say they sucked total ass in 2002 and 2003...

If my team sucks during the year, I just don't get into that particular sport...I'm loyal to my teams, but only when they are playing worth a shit

just look, in 5 short years, the Tigers from being the laughing stock of Major League Baseball, to one of the best teams around.  Great job.

I still think they need to bring back Nate Cornholio.

Im thinking inge would be a great trade for a real closing pitcher, one that can throw strikes.

Dombrowski was on the radio today.  He said that he talked with Inge and Inge wants to remain a starting 3rd baseman.  I dont blame him.  Hes a great 3rd baseman.  Dombrowski said he told inge hed look to deal him if that was his wish.

I'm sure with the success of the tigers he will get a nice pay increase if he signs with another team..I'd expect to see him around this year yet, I'm sure he wants to go back to the world series

He said he doesnt want to be a sub and doesnt want anything to do with catching.  So, that means he wants out.  Dombrowski said hed do everything he could to get him to a good team because Inge has been here through the worst.  Im suspecting he will be traded for some prospects or, maybe a middle reliever.
