So Amazon is having a huge sale on over 200+ BDs right now and I took the opportunity to buy a few.

Let me preface this by saying that I hate/love Amazon prime (you pay $79 and get free two-day air for a year and $3.99 per item for overnight).  Ever since I became a member, I am buying stuff from them like crazy.  Works out great since I don't like going to Best Buys, etc.

    * 1 of: Spider-Man - The High Definition Trilogy [Blu-ray]
I mainly bought this for Spiderman 2, especially since its 2.1 which I haven't seen yet (extra 8 minutes of footage).  I also didn't hate Spiderman 3 with a passion like most people did and look forward to seeing it again.  It was a steal getting all three movies for only $40.

    *  1 of: The Prestige [Blu-ray]
Saw this and loved it.  Been wanting to buy it, but it was always $28 before.  Picked it up for $20.

    * 1 of: Casino Royale [Blu-ray]

Same as above.

    * 1 of: Apocalypto [Blu-ray]
Same as above.

    * 1 of: Dawn of the Dead [Blu-ray]
This is actually the original movie from '78.  Its a great zombie movie and I only have it on VHS.  That was actually the first thing I ever bought off Amazon (Dawn and Day of the Dead on VHS).

    * 1 of: The Rock [Blu-ray]
After reading around (I read a priceless Sean Connery line) I knew I had to own this movie.

    * 1 of: Incubus - Alive at Red Rocks [Blu-ray]
I'm way into these HD concerts now.  I have a couple classic rock ones already (Cream, Eagles, Deep Purple) so I figured this would be a good way to balance the collection out a little bit.

There were a bunch more I would have liked to pick up but I think thats enough money spent for now.

man, they are gonna hate you... the business model for Amazon Prime probably banks on 95% of people forgetting they have it or only using it once a year.  You are gonna single handedly bring down the Prime program.

hahaha, I probably will do the same in a month.

I've easily saved more than $80 in stuff that I've bought from them already and had expedited shipping on.  Holy crap, I've only been a member since the day after Christmas too.

Cool.  I need to see Presitige, Dawn of the Dead and 28 Weeks Later on your TV Danny!

have you seen Casino Royale?  I loved that movie!

You do realize that Dawn of the Dead is the old one, not the remake, right?  You watched 28 Weeks Later with me and Emmy too but you're welcome to come over again for it.

I need to set up some kind of online movie-watching schedule for at dad's.

Jason, will you come over this weekend and help me put up zombie decorations in the basement?  We'll finish off by watching Dawn of the Dead and 28 Weeks Later back to back!  uglylol

Yup, 28 Weeks Later was so damn good I had to buy it.  You'd like Casino Royale a lot too.  I'm predicting some Cathy meals at Joe Rocket's in the fore coming weeks.

You'll like Dawn of the Dead too.  Its a (zombie) classic!

Did you see Prestige?  I bet you didn't see CR.  Not sure if you would like Dawn of the Dead but 28 Weeks Later is just badass in every sense.  It can't not be liked.
