I was at Target tonight and this caught my eye so I picked it up. 2 DVD disc set, I'm only about halfway through the first one, and its flat out awesome.  Any fan of the guitar should pick this up.  Danny probably won't since it's only on regular DVD, but for a regular DVD the transfer is quite good.  It's in Dolby DTS and Dolby Digital, it sounds great!  Highly recommended, Clapton shreds hardcore.

yea, this dude was playing some good stuff though, and he was very good.  The 2nd DVD...wow   prayer prayer  I stayed up until after 1am watching it last night.

Jeff Beck played a few songs, and he had a 21 year old female bass player with him, jesus she could play and was pretty hot too, then Clapton and Derek Trucks came out and shredded for over an hour, 1 song was almost a half hour of guitar heaven.  Badass

besides the 30 minute version of Tell the Truth, I think my fav song on the set so far is Steve Winwood doing 'Dear Mr. Fantasy', he does an awesome guitar solo in it.

its a great dvd set.  If nobody out there has it by the time you're here, we'll have to watch some of it.

Actually, I've seen it at my mom's house now I just remembered.  Maybe I'll put it in my PS3, turn off the TV and just listen to it.

I bought it for the music, but surprisingly it didn't look bad for a standard DVD.

there are so many awesome guitar solos on these dvds it will make you cry.

Bill Murray
Sonny Landreth
Eric Clapton
John McLaughlin
Doyle Bramhall II
The Derek Trucks Band (Derek Trucks can SHRED)
Johnny Winter (dude looks like he's 100)
Robert Cray
Jimmie Vaughan
Hubert Sumlin
BB King (funny as hell, awesome blues)
Vince Gill
Albert Lee
Sheryl Crow
Willie Nelson
John Mayer
Los Lobos
Jeff Beck (my dad)
Robbie Robertson
Steve Winwood
Buddy Guy

Disc Two is my favorite by far.  It starts out with John Mayer, goes to Los Lobos, 2 songs by Jeff Beck that are amazing.  Then Clapton comes out for a 30 minute jam session with Derek Trucks and Doyle Bramhall, does another 6 songs, Steve Winwood comes on, then Buddy Guy and they all do Sweet Home Chicago to end the disk.

Here is a youtube vid of Jeff Beck at crossroads doing Cause We've Ended as Lovers.
