FCI Filter- so a 8 ply oiled gauze filter....Im not too concerned about that filter and water.  Because the fact is I wont EVER race in water like that again.  Sticky mucky mud Im ok with, but Ive ALWAYS been very gun shy about water like that.  I was all geeked up because it was the 1st round and mud is the great equalizer(evidenced by me leading my class LOL)- so I went for it.

I think the piston is going to be OK, I'll just throw new rings on it.  Crank is toast though.  Hopefully when I split the cases, I wont find any more surprises...

no major effects anyways...but it sure did make for some entertaining video!  That and I probably gained 5 lbs of muscle from riding it back with no throttle input.

I forgot the stoopid Kibblewhite springs take a smaller custom stem seal- so I didnt get it together and going until yesterday afternoon.

I also purchased a jet kit...I know gat...but I was mainly after the needle.  Its from JD Jetting (www.jdjetting.com) and several people spoke highly of how the needle made the mid more robust- which is always welcomed for me.

Probably going to hit our practice track on Weds or Thurs. if it isnt monsooning too heavily...

both Ben and I bought JD setups...Dusty has the other needle in his bike, and I think Danny's LTZ has one too

hell yeah, the blue JD needle is worth buying the kit, and the o-rings they give you for the accel pump linkage work great too. Night and day difference between the blue and red needle, use the blue

I have the blue needle in mine as well, I ran the red one when my bike was more of a bolt on setup and it seemed fine.

mine is only bolt-ons, and dannys is only a Z434, and the blue needle is much better in both bikes. I noticed a huge difference in my YFZ, it hit much harder much sooner and wheelies were way easier
