I actually like this move...
I think Amare needs someone with Shaq's maturity to help guide them into the post season.  He will do wonders for Amare's game...

Shaq is all done.  Theres a reason the heat have lost 18 of their last 19 and only have like 10 wins this season.

Yeah, I don't really understand this move, but apparently Marion hasn't been happy there.     Shaq is clearly in the decline and he misses time every year with injuries.  I just think the Heat found a sucker to take his salary off their books.

because in my opinion, shaq's losing his edge, not that he had much to begin with. Seriously whats his FT %? Id make him shoot free throws til his fingertips bled. The guy cant make squat outside a 5 foot span of the basket.
overrated, overpayed, and overhyped.

The bad part about this deal is shaq is under contract at 20 million a year for this year and 2 more years.  Marion is 17 million a year and can opt out next year.

Why in the world would you want to be stuck with shaq for 2 more years at 20 million a year.  Hes hurt right now, hasnt played in 2 weeks.  He'll come back and get hurt again.

I guess they feel this will keep them in contention with LA now that they have gasol.

The other thing i dont understand is that the suns are a running team....shaq can only be used in half court sets.  Hes gonna fuck up that chemistry bad.

He's a homo who wouldn't know how to correctly play the game of basketball if it hit him in the face.  The only reason he was even remotely decent is because the NBA doesn't play basketball by the rules.

Even if he can't play, his experience is valuable...I doubt its worth his ridiculous salary, but he's probably got more playoff appearances than all current active players...The Suns have sucked royal ass in the playoffs so I see this move at least helping them become more prepared for playoff games..

this trade won't matter... Kobe and the Lakers will be holding the trophy at the end of the year unless the Celtics stop them.  no one in the west scares me if the lakers are healthy.  before the gasol trade the spurs maybe, but bynum is a man and has come a long ways.  the guy is a stud.  if he's healthy come playoff time and they get a few weeks to play together... hello championship.

teh suns... i've hated them for so long... it's great they got shaq.  he's so bad right now.  all his quickness is gone and it continues to show more day in and day out.  what a horrible move....  i couldn't be happier for the fag suns, fat ass shaq, and the child molester nash.  a perfect combo
