I'm officially a member of Team DSLR! Dr. Bloze was selling her Canon EOS D20 and Tamron 18-200mm lens, so I bought them both! I've used it three times so far, once for my sister-in-law's bachelorette party, on Mother's Day, and on the limo at my brother's wedding. It's so fun playing around with it and the lens RULES! I can't WAIT to use it in Idaho/Utah this year!!! YAY!

Wow nice, and an 18-200 is a very good lense, isn't it?  Is that the same one you have, Pete?  most people have a 18-55 and 55-200, right?

Everyone has a dizzler...except Ben!

good deal Jen.

My camera and lens are Nikon, Jen's is a Canon with a Tamron lens.   Similar specs, different systems.  It should take very nice pictures regardless.  The one thing I'm finding about the 'super zoom' lenses with such a wide range like mine is that they aren't as sharp as more dedicated lenses.  Just like everything else it seems, it's a trade off.

I hate switching lenses and I'm not that big of a photog so I think the 18-200 would be appealing for me anyways

This camera & lens takes awesome pics- Dr. Bloze's used it on many of her various overseas trips and her pictures always come out fantastic. I'm just learning how to use it and I'm addicted to it!

I wonder if heather will take hers out from leveling the short leg of the couch to use in ID?

My pics may lack a high refinement, but make up for it in content
