There's another pile of rocks and logs on the other side of the tires.  It sucks because it was deep whooped out sand in the off-road section, but then you had rocks and logs crap- so if you dared running a skid plate it was a double edge sword.  Get high centered in the deep sand or risk breaking parts on the rocks!!!

Good- Can-Am is still working a few bugs- but they are really proving to be a great quad.  I still havent rode or even sat on one to check the ergo of them- but this last race the Pro and Pro-am winners were both Can-Am.  The Polaris Outlaw 450 solid rear axle seems to be OK, its on par with everything else IMO.  The Kawi's are finally coming along but I think they are still riddled with some issues to work through, but it appears they have the power issues somewhat up to par now.  Us old Honda and YFZ racers are still chugging along with everyone else trying to catch up or surpass

These are the top riders on the west coast and they all have a chance to win regardless whatever brand it is- .  Its tough to filter through that sometimes.  I like the Honda and YFZ platforms because they are so tested and known.  I would give it another year and I would maybe go Can-Am.  I just have a weird thing with the Kawi's right given how many problems- both mech and power wise to go that route.  I still would need to ride one for a little bit to make up my mind.
