the weather blows this weekend so I took some bird pics off the deck.  Yes, it is currently snowing and 30 degrees on April 12th   Vomit

The migrating robins must be moving through right now, because there is easily 100 of them just in my yard alone.

went up to the Rice Lake Nature Preserve by my house (within biking distance) and went for a stroll around the reserve and onto Chomonix Golf Course.  A lot of the shots I had to take at ISO 1600 to get them to turn out.  Some of them look really red and pink too, that's not exaggerated, it was a very cool sunset.

messed around with the camera some this afternoon trying different aperture sizes in an attempt to get a nice, blurred background (called bokeh)

I obviously need more practice, but 1 shot of the banshee came out pretty decent, it's my new wallpaper.  I'm looking forward to taking some quad porn shots at SL in a couple weeks.
