Pete, Dusty, Susan, a few others and I went to the Myth Saturday night and saw some MMA/Boxing action. We were 2nd row and I must say it was one of the most enjoyable events I've been at. We got there at 5pm, started having some brews and mixed drinks and stumbled out at 10pm and got some food and more brews. Hella great time!!!!!!!!! I'm pretty sure we'll be rollin back there basically EVERY SINGLE TIME they have an event. Killer...........  |

I had a good time too. The most impressive thing for me was their sound system. Good effin god I've never heard bass like that before, it literally took your breath away at times and made it hard to breathe. My ears were popping from the changes in the pressure, it was even so low you could feel it in your chest. Crazy. The Indian dude got his ass kicked, and the mexican that Kenny Kost fought was a homo, he deserved to get DQ'd.
Oh yea Clint, we made those burritos our bitch.

We flexxed on those suckers Pete. You went all-out and rolled it in no time... I took the painful route and killed it long and slow. It was a great atmosphere... kinda like a nightclub and MMA/Boxing event combined. That made it extremely enjoyable I think. Imagine going out to the club, listening to some damn good music/mixed, having drinks and as a bonus you have dudes pummelling the snot out of each other in a ring. |

exactly, I was very impressed with the atmosphere of the place, it was great. The only thing they probably need to work on is the after party a bit. Then again we didn't stick around very long so who knows.

That place was freaking awesome.....I wish they had another fight next week I would be all of over that. It was pretty gay though when we got scolded when you guys were passing me around on the couch and my feet where on the upholstery. As long as I was not screaming for my life and we were not hurting anything they should have left us alone but whatever.
Yeah I am glad that they DQed that one guy, how lame to keep spitting out his mouth piece to get a break. Just be a man and take your punches.
Good to hear that Heather was having a good night too. But she would have definitely had a blast with us last night.

I agree whole heartedly. This night rocked. I didn't know what to expect, but it was a lot of fun and definitely worth it. Sorry I didn't get you a ticket up front Pete, but I am glad that in the end, you were able to come with. I won't make that mistake twice. We will have to keep our eyes on these events as they come up. Oh by the way, that bass was amazing. Like Pete said, at times I thought my heart was skipping a beat because of it. We had to of been sitting right in front of the subs.  |
