I was really bored at work today, so I went searching for videos. This one is my favorite. The people are freaking crazy and its great fun. I love the outfits and the bikes and all the drunken idiots! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uXqG7vaqGdU&NR=1

that is a cool video. Does anyone know when the mark in time was when electric guitar really came into music?

Ive been meaning to look for some live Outlaws videos, finally did, these guys never got as popular as they should have been, they should have been huge, but i think just the fact some of their music was very country and then some was very rock like this, they got pigeon holed in the gray area between the two and never got ultra popular. These are videos of Green Grass High Tides live from 1977, the audio blows, but its well worth a watch. Part 1 is great, but they really turn the heat up in the second part. What a great live version. Amazing guitar work http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqJ_V7ay3E8 part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3JAglkUrms part 2 in one of the comments, someone was talking about the corporate music wasteland that we have today and how much it sucks, i wonder if it will ever turn around and we will get bands as huge as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Beatles, etc ever again. Is there any band out today that will be remembered 40 years later and have huge loyal followings?

when I was at Best Buy the other day, I saw a Stevie Ray Vaughan DVD so I picked it up. The 2nd song on the DVD was 'Texas Flood' and he played half the song with the guitar behind his back. So I looked it up on Youtube... http://youtube.com/watch?v=4gsqSnmb4pMHe also did a great cover of Jimi Hendrix's 'Voodoo Chile', the hammer ons and pull offs he does in this song are nuts http://youtube.com/watch?v=hPW9ozDuLbo

haha I love youtube commenters..they know everything there is to know about everything and always get all asshurt about the gayest shit.. Some do prove some good points, I agree that we probably won't see anything like The Beatles ever again but we have to remember that these great bands were PIONEERS of Rock. They will always be cherished and remembered!!
btw Hughie is a fucking amazing guitarist! Thats one thing I hate about modern music, the guitarists have huge egos and just play for speed and ditch emotion..I like emotion more than speed
