When I first saw previews for this movie, I thought it looked very cheesy and corny.  I never really had any interest in seeing it but wow it has a 96% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes!  That makes it the best reviewed movie of 2008 (and superhero movie).

I can't see myself liking this more than Batman Begins, though.

I agree that I originally thought "never gonna see that", but lately I've been changing my mind.  I'm not hyped to see it like the new Batman, but I would give it a shot.

I've heard it's very good too.  The one movie reviewer I heard on the radio said it's the biggest surprise of a performance since Johnny Depp was in some pirate movie.

while i do want to see it, i dont trust RT. Some of my favorite movies have gotten crap ratings from them. Personally, ill see the movie then rate it. Unless someone says it was absolutel horrible and not worth it, then mabe not, but i make my own decisions for ratings.

Well I figure if the majority of reviewers like it then its got a good thing going for it.  I have seen movies that were rated in the 90s percentile on RT that I have hated.  I've also seen movies that have a 20-40% on RT that I have really enjoyed.

amazing movie.  potentially the best superhero movie out there... can't think of one better though Batman Begins is right there.  simply fantastic in many ways, but for the geeks who like techie stuff this movie is a MUST SEE.

Holy shit this movie was awesome! Robert Downey Jr. is f-ing hilarious in it, and it's just superb. Stay til the credits are finished-- all I'm gonna say is there will be a sequel.
My favorite part?? Peter Billingsley is one of the executive producers

I saw this on Saturday, I give it   wayyyy up .  Now who the heck was the bad guy with the beard?  It bothered me the whole movie, he sounded so familiar, but that damn beard threw me off.
