I think the only thing that would make it better is getting us all in the same campground---well and me on a Banshee next year.  We rode ALOT.  Minimal breakages.  No body got hurt(well except for my pride when I barely made it out of Choke on Monday)...We ate really well.

Its a freaking Milwaukees Best commercial- because it just doesnt get better than that....

Oh Im nut sack deep in that already....I think I may have Rexy talked into trading his Cheetah for the '04 YFZ.  That Cheetah was one of the THE very 1st ones Calvin cast and had ohhh about 20 minutes of a porting tool inside it to clean it up.  We dinked some with what carbs and very little with head design.  It made 92 horse and 56 torque....I imagine I can get it dialed into 96-98 horse and 58 with what we know now about those motors.  Im going to have to find a not-ghey desert tank and maybe a rack too- but its on fockers!

How about we put the dates and everything in the first post so when everyone asks over and over what the dates are, we can just direct them to the first page?

Woohoo, Idaho and chicken and onion rings 2009!   slayer

June 15-19th

To be more specific, we'd arrive in Idaho on June 14th and leave on the morning of the 20th.  We've had awesome weather this week the past three years so I think it'd be crazy to change it now!

Added 4/1/09 for my own reference
so we'd leave for Idaho in the morning, Sunday, June 14th?  So we'd need the nights of the 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th at DO?  We'd be un Utah the 11th, 12th, and 13th?

no, we would be leaving the 19th. Otherwise you are correct. So we'll need reservations at DO for the 14th,15th,16th,17th,18th. As far as what type sites, its hard to know with not knowing what they look like

isn't the plan go to Utah first?  You guys are leaving for Utah Wednesday June 10th?  Arrive on the 11th sometime?  ride the 11th, 12th, 13th, head to St. A's on the morning of the 14th, and leave Saturday morning the 20th like usual?

that is all correct, except that if we leave saturday morning, we wont get home until monday afternoon. We werent planning on taking that monday off, instead we are taking the 10th, 11th, and 12th. We're leaving the same time and everything as St.Anthony 2006.

leaving wednesday morning of june 10th and returning home Sunday june 21st

I surrender!.  If you find a nice, non gay looking tank, let me know.  I hear the 4 gallon IMS tanks might not be so bad, but the 5 gallon ones look horrible.

I want to find the steepest chute at Choke.  Start with my wheels on the hill.  Then just BLITZ the shit outta that bitch.....

Whoah.  Sorry- I got a little too excited.

Yeah Im scoping that 4g IMS tank also....If I get the Banshee, I'll see if one of my homies with a IMS sponsorship can hook me up...

I tried to get fancy like that too, only I did it at the top and the damn thing fell off the pipes.  I got a 'small' dose of adrenaline as I stood downhill from the Banshee up to my knees in sand holding it up from falling downhill   uglylol

hell yeah, all about the chutes with no run. We are definitely spending some time there. Need to explore to the left of choke too. I wish i could have played with the banshee more to the right of choke, didnt really run it all there. Just once and it felt like a rocket ship compared to the YFZs
