more of us on the Bike trail

these were two guys that were at the rock garden while we were, the guy on the artic cat didnt seem to have too much experience, he couldnt have looked more out of place. At least he had the proper riding attire on  the guy on the Polaris on the other hand was impressive to watch, he took the hard way up

This is the new Ranger Station they built, very nice place inside. Should have seen the old one, what a dump

The bike trail was definitely way more challenging on the dirt bikes, and it didnt help that it was hot and humid that day either. If you stopped at all on the way up, you were screwed. Only way up is to start at the bottom and get into first and ride it all the way through without stopping and pulling the clutch in, just have to bounce off of and dodge what you can and hope for the best. Luckily i made it up first try with limited drama, and then raced to get the camera out so i could get them coming up

it really doesnt look like much at all in the pictures, but there is so much context that goes along with it you have to ride it to really get it. Its amazing how in the pics all the rocks look flat and stable and not loose and pointing up in the air like they really are

Yes, just like the sand hills, pictures do not do it justice.  The rock garden was fun on teh utilities.  The dirtbikes were a whole 'nother story.  I should have gassed it and not stopped as much, but that damn flat spot in the low end made the bike stall too easy.  I really need to re-jet that thing.

She did good; still no big wreck yet... I am hoping it comes soon; so she gets it out of the way .  We made it to the mud pit and were heading out to Beullers Corners, but she didn't like the look of the downhill with the pavers; so we are gonna save it for the next trip.
