Are we looking to stay Thursday- Sunday then? Thats 3 nights, we would get one free. roughly $200/room.
Ive never had an issue with the cabins at all, and same with the hotel.
right, or it would be $300 for the cabin. If MN people go 1 day earlier they could get 2 nights free. Shit, if we could come up with something cool to do other then just ride, i would consider taking off thursday too and use the other free night. I dont really want to ride 3 days in a row there, but if we found something else cool to do one day, i would be up for it |

Im totally up for riding thursday and friday and then doing something saturday or something. Golfing was fun there the one time and we can go and do some adventurer stuff. Im for that too

I'd be up for taking Thursday off too if we found something else to do. Its a tourist place, theres gotta be other stuff to do up there.
Josh, are you coming? If so, then a hotel wouldn't work. I don't mind staying at either one but I have the bigger air mattress now too so it might be a little tight with my cot in there (also 5 people for a few days as well). Never fit that great before but the mattress is about twice the size now of the frame (or a little less).
Why don't you like the cabin by the water on the right? The one we stayed at when Emmy came last September?

Ride all day Thursday and probably Friday, Maybe take trucks in if its not bad? But find something else to do too. Im all for leaving the dunes at a decent time for a good meal too.

i completely forgot about Jen and Jason, that is too many people for 2 rooms then. We will have to figure this out. Staying at the cabins also takes out the incentive of using the extra free night for going up wednesday night.
The cabin on the right isnt nearly as nice as the one on the left, especially the bathroom.
Danny, you dont have the single cot with the mattress i got for you in ID? The mini suite is only $10 more a night, if its available i say go for it

Very true; if I came we would have to stay in the cabin for Ruby. I dunno though, I am really torn... end of September my money will be slowly dwindling down, but I really like the idea of taking thursday and friday off and making it a longer trip. But I still don't have a quad  Tough call... edit, but yeh, the incentive of taking an extra day would be canceled because we would have to pay for it at the cabin vs the hotel. I see what ben is saying. I would say you guys make your plans and if I can come and fit in somewhere closer to the date then cool, but don't plan around me. |

you can fit at least 6 people in the cabins, add another one on the couch or on a cot thats 7 or 8. We never really have an issue with the bathroom as far as people waiting to use it

I don't know if Cathy can do the Thursday. I think she only has Friday/ Saturday off. I really don't like the idea of coming up separate either. Plus, I haven't heard any solid ideas for the time.
My vote is for the hotel. Its nicer and we don't have to meet people at bowling alleys to pay for it. Plus, the whole free night deal.
The cabin on the right on the water has the WORST shower and bathroom. Its like they converted a coat closet to a shower.
Jen- you and Jason in or out?
I agree we should lock in our plans now.

Well since we only have Me Ben Danny and You and Cathy. it will probably be you and Cathy driving up together, but see if she can get an extra day off. It not we can work on it. We can work out costs of gas if we really need to.
