Anybody catch this? Sweet ass show!!!
Clapton kicked serious ass. They did like a 10 minute rendition of Layla...Also featured lots of kick ass bands with heavy emphasis on guitars
no video but decent sound for a youtube vid.. John Mayer stepped up on stage and paid hommage to the guitar gods too

Layla (non acoustic) is one of my fav. Clapton songs. John Mayer is an awesome guitar player too.

Thinking about it more...When Clapton did Layla unplugged it totally started the craze for artists doing there shit unplugged.. Remember that? After he did Layla unplugged it seems like every artist was being featured with an unplugged set..

The term is pretty gay though.. Their acoustic guitars are plugged into an amp

I like the sound of an acoustic with a pickup..Otherwise you are trying to play into a microphone to project your sound..it sounds much cleaner out of an amp
