i went looking to see what happened to him, turns out that he started his own show again on SPEED channel. It started this february. Its called Gearz. Looks like he builds hotrods and cars now too. Also, i never did see the completed product of the dodge, its called Sgt. Rock. Looks bad ass
http://www.gearztv.com/index.php?content=projectsThe only gay project of his was that Tomb Raider Jeep he built for that dorky kid. Sgt Rock was cool. Big Orange was bad ass. Especially when he took it out to test and buried the thing. When he got winched out, he opened the door and water came spilling out. It was awful when he found out that the person that bought it, stripped it down to junk. That was when he vowed to keep the project trucks. What was the name of that one willy's jeep he did. It almost looked like and old school PT Cruiser but only not gay and very cool looking. I remember him testing it out by airing the thing on a small jump.
Original Trucks, Car and Driver (with that guy who does American Rifleman on Outdoor network) and Shadetree Mechanic ruled. All the Spike TV shows now suck a fat one. I used to watch the POwerblock religiously, now I watch almost none of it. Maybe the occasional Extreme 4x4 when they are doing a realistic project.
I agree on the 2.5 Rockwells or you have a baby dick. I realize that the sport is going towards tube buggies and that, but when all I read is how every 10-bolt explodes when it sees dirt, IFS is the devil and that you need to do a project that scopes out at $20k; I just lose all interest. About the only issue I still enjoy is the Whoops! and Readers Rides issues.
