we are doing a major network upgrade starting at 8am CST Friday November 28th.  The website, email, and all content will be unavailable during the morning and into the afternoon.  Unfortunately I am having to undo years of other admins screw ups, and it will take some time.

I actually decided to start pre-staging the new router so it hopefully will only be down 5 or 10 minutes

well, so much for the 5 minutes.  Oh well, it shouldn't need to ever be done again, sometimes you can't avoid downtime when previous admins did not think prior to setting things up.

All I want to know is if the upgrade means improved ROI, better TKIP, strengthened WLARK and most importantly granular reliability
