the last 2 pics are all you can see of stores in town.  The snow banks are so high you can't see most of the stores, and can barely see their signs.  Crazy

wow, very good pics. Looks like a great time. The field of powder is awesome looking.

Now if your bikes are considered trail bikes, what would it take to go through that snow that chris was stuck in? or what do they use in like Antarctica and shit where there are no groomers? is it basically that a trail sled is more nimble and performance oriented, and a mountain sled has longer and deeper tracks that can go through anything, but are heavy and not nimble? sort of like a 450 versus a utility ATV?

Chris wouldn't have gotten stuck if he had kept his momentum up.  The long track sleds have more surface area on the snow, hence they don't dig in as easily, but they don't handle on the trail as well because they're so long.  Think of trail riding your Banshee with the long swingarm.

You're basically on with your comparison, except a lot of the mountain sleds are hot rods too, except with long, deep lug tracks for more traction and flotation.

some of this was taken with my Canon point and shoot, others with my Sony camcorder.  Nothing special, all the good footage we had didn't come out due to the batteries in the helmet cam sucking ass.

looks fun. How does your sled compare to CBergs? any thoughts of upgrading or possibly buying a new one?

You guys thought of heading west to MT/ID area?

power wise, they're similar.  His sits higher and handles better, and has a better track on it.  It has reverse too, which is nice for unloading, turning around etc.  Sled's don't roll like a quad.  Thoughts about upgrading, definitely, I'm taking 1 thing at a time though.

to go to Idaho or Montana, we'd need to rent mountain sleds.  Our trail sleds wouldn't make it very far at all out there.

no 'sound' about it, that pipe IS loud.  It echoes through the woods like crazy.  I'm sure people can hear it miles away.
