is there any reason to take more than just my paddle tires ? i know i would not go back to LS UT with out my razer 2s, even the sand is different there.

not really. If you go across the highway to the dunes nobody rides on, there is some lava rock on the trail but just take it slow and you'll be OK.

actually if you go all the way to the stop of the stairs, there is a sand/grass trail that might be cool with some knobbies... not sure if it is legal though.

Especially it being your first time there, your not going to waste your time in the trails or across the street, you'll be in the big sand. Just paddles would be fine, ive never had a desire for knobbies there

Dry and pretty smooth. The Sand Highway can get a little choppy and some of the landmarks are a little rough at the base, but overall, the sand is like glass and it goes on forever. I bet we have probably only seen a quarter of the place and we have been there 3 years straight. You will love it, Al.

yep 8's are the ticket.
i am a bit low on power ,it was expected , how ever i am kicking jaydogg' s butt, well for now any way he's going to do some maping at a dyno .
St A's is better but the hill at LS is biggger by far.
