I love how all of the Decepticons are huge and bad ass. The Autobots...not so much.

I love how all of the Decepticons are huge and bad ass. The Autobots...not so much. I remember mentioning to Jason after seeing Transformers how the autobots pretty much get their ass hannded to them throughout the entire film. Sequel appears to be very similar in that regard...no complaints here!

I was wrong, I loved this movie . I've heard other people say it seemed long, but to me, I think it flowed a lot better than the first. There sure as hell was a lot of action in it.
And yeah, so you know how the autobots kinda get their ass handed to them throughout the first movie? Not so here....Optimus kicks some fucking ass! Even Bumblebee!
Also saw it in a DLP theater and it looked great.

We saw it last Friday and its kick ass. I could have maybe done without the two idiot autobots. The little monster truck decepticon was enough. But overall I thought it was better than the 1st because there was way more action to it.
<spoiler>
The old SR-71 was pretty cool and how he hooked up Optimus with his parts- was pretty freaking cool!!! Did you guys catch the nod to all the other movies- Terminator, Lord of the Rings, et al.

yeah, those two little autobots were pretty annoying...I think they had one good line.
What was the LOTR reference?
Another thing was I laughed a lot during this movie, definitely moreso than the first.

<spoiler abounds>
Maybe its some weak sauce- but the whole Matrix thing- the quest to get it- reminds me of the precious. Then when he "dies" and the guardian 'bots tell him that the Matrix isnt a thing but more about leadership. That in many ways just the look of that scene reminded me of when doot(Frodo) puts the ring on when the wraiths attack them on top of that old fort- Frodo gets stabbed by the sword. The imagery of seeing the wraiths and seeing the gaurdians 'bots reminded me very much of it.

Are you talking about when the Prime's told Sam that the matrix isnt found, its earned? I saw it opening weekend, and I think im going to see it again just to pick up on the stuff i missed while drooling. The two twin autobots wouldnt have been as bad if they didnt have the ghetto talk, but some lines were funny. Especially when the green one said he needed to blend in with his surroundings....when he was in the desert.
