Looks worthwhile, but subpar to MW2.  This is what you can get for MW2.

nah... I don't think MW2 is going to touch this for what I want at least.

this has 4v4 COOP for the entire campaign.  hardcore mode with zero HUD.  4v4 multiplayer... that's it... no big 16 v 16 where there's guys everywhere.  this looks like a hardcore tactical shooter.  at the same time, it won't sell nearly as well as MW2 since that game is going to have a much broader appeal.

still, i'll most likely get both and see.  i hope MW2 is tactical and not a run and gun fest, but i'm guessing it will be like COD4.  that was a fun game though!

man, i hope that gun works with flashpoint.

The gun is legit for MW2.  Mad Catz is licensed to make more "controllers" for the game too.  It would definitely take some getting used to controlling your guy's movement with the gun. The neighbors are going to think im really crazy when they see me hunkered down behind the couch!

Can you imagine using the gun with Natal?  That would be killer.

I agree.  I only played MW on hardcore mode.  While it isnt 100% real life, its a super fun game.

CoD: Modern Warfare 2  =  me out   Vomit

Sounds like if I was 14 and wanted to run and gun I'd love this game.  Operation Flashpoint 2 can't come soon enough.

This part is a little disappointing.

The actual weapon loadouts are also a bit different as well, with a primary and secondary gun available in every create-a-class. Rather than being stuck to just pistols, players can add a shotgun, machine pistol, or regular pistol in its place, as well as rocket launchers. Apparently someone else had the same feeling I did about shotguns – they're nice, but I'd never use one over a rifle or SMG – and decided to shoehorn it in with the regular set.

However, this makes me happy.

The first major note I can make on the game is that, as expected, it's pretty unchanged in the gameplay department from the previous Modern Warfare. IW knew it had a hit on its hands in the first game, and as such Modern Warfare 2 feels like a true Modern Warfare experience

That section you pointed out REALLY gets me.  No doubt this will be a game with a larger demographic and more run and gun.  I've heard rumors that OF2 doesn't look very next gen, but if the gameplay is there, I'm sold.

Stupid games.

Exactly, i hope there is atleast a little delay in weapon switching or youll get guys just switching to their backup machine gun or rifle instead of reloading.

I could see myself carrying a sniper rifle and smg frequently though depending on the maps.
