Well, for those of you that don't know, I was up in Brainerd this weekend to get my motorcycle racing license.  I ended up crashing in the race at the end of the school and broke my clavicle.  The bike is ok, just cosmetic damage and the exhaust probably needs to be replaced.  I am OK other than the broken bone, but I will be in a sling for 4-6 weeks.  :(

Yeah, it is in the shoulder area.  Hurts like a SOB, or at least it did at first.  Now, it is just a big inconvenience.  Oh well.

That sucks, Dusty- glad it was just your collarbone though. Coulda been much worse! That's the bone my dad broke when he crashed the 250X- was in a sling for about 6 weeks, but back to normal after that and the goof ball was fixing up the living room at the time and was using his injured arm to drill holes in the wall for the banister a week after he hurt himself.

Got into a corner too fast and the bike washed out on me.  Human error.  I need more seat time.

Actually, yeah.  The instructors thought that I had done enough throughout the day to still earn it.  I won't be able to use it though until May.  :(  It wasn't a total loss so that is good.

well, at least you got something out of it. but in that situation it was only a matter of time before you had your first crash, just like riding a quad or dirt bike. Now you got that out of the way. and summer is almost over instead of just starting. somewhat of a silver lining.

LOL.  Yeah.  Would you believe I haven't even taken that game out of the Gamefly package yet?  Should definitely get a chance here in a few days.  It sounds like I go under the knife on Thursday for the broken clavicle.  Because of the location of the break and because of a shard that is in there, the doctor suggested I do the surgery.  I don't want to take any chances so under the knife I go.  Wish me luck.
