What type of files are you going to be sharing?

Just word, excel, some jpg's.

Google Docs!          I do love my google.  I think someone should start a religion based on them.

I was even talking about this with my boss and yeah there is no clear-cut best or easy/secure way.

Google docs is now going to allow any file to be uploaded.  You get 1gb free and its 25 cents per additional gb.

This kicks ass!  I can't believe the lack of services for sharing files remotely and easily.  Would be nice if you could mount the drive though on your desktop.

Another thing you could do is setup a free dropbox.com account.  Designate a folder on your PC to be backed up by drop box, then put all the files you want to share in it.  It will sync that folder to another PC and you can access the files on the web as well.  It even works on the Iphone.
