80 gig harddrive is fine.  But what about...

2 or 4 gig ram?
256MB NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160M With PC card or Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD With PC-Card


any of those really matter?  Or at this level just go the cheapest?

well 4gb is obviously better than 2gb...

on the graphics

buy the NVidia if you are doing a lot of CAD work, 3d modeling etc.  Uses more juice when on battery and creates more heat
buy the Intel if you are doing office work, don't care about 3d performance, and want better battery life and less heat.

I'd go with the 4gb, if it's not a huge price difference.

No nvidia for Jason?  He does all kinds of graphic-intensive work!  Get him the Quadro! 

Poor Jason and his refurb laptop with bullet holes and taped on keys that will only be able to view text-only verisons of web pages.   uglylol

2GB is fine, i ran 64 bit vista and Win 7 on my E6400.

I had the 1280 x 800 and it was fine, although, during the day at work i had it docked and used an external monitor.

Oh yeh, very fast, I think I got it on Monday?  It kicks ass!  Screen is really nice.  Jason is gonna see it here in about an hour so we will see what he thinks.
