Well it looks like it is time for use to upgrade.  The PS2 has issues and after watching some blue rya movies at a friends house I want one.

My main question is about the memory.  I see PS3s from 30-120GB of memory.  We will mainly be playing Rock Band and racing games.  Does the memory affect the quality of the games or movies we will play and watch.

Nope, you'll be perfectly fine with the PS3 Slim.  You'll love it.  I've been playing mine tons lately. Tons of great games for it out too.

Make sure you are looking up the Slim 120gb model. Thats the $300 model and the one you want.
