My USB ports are working like shit.   Slow, doesn't seem to recognize things half the time.   So I tried going on Dell's web site to find an update or something.   Thier website sucks!   Why can't it just be labeled "USB Drivers" so I can find the F'n thing!   Then I get the Driver Download manager  like it tells you to and it opens and says to go the the web site to get the correct file....    Why can't there just be a loose bolt on the side of the monitor or something?!

Any Ideas... before I punch a hole in my dads screen?:)

http://support.dell.com/support/index.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=bsd

go to drivers and downloads

put in the service tag for the computer (it will be on the back)

select operating system (I'm guessing XP since that computer is kinda old)

find your drivers, have fun.  They are probably labeled 'chipset drivers', they include the USB stuff.
