1.  the causeway in the back with the old bridge in the front.  apparently they built the old bridge in 1954, and it only lasted 20 years because they mixed the concrete with salt water.  SMRT
2.  I think these birds are called paddlebills.  They had wide ends to their bills.
3.  Palm tree silhouette
4.  Pelican flying
5. pelican on a post
6.  Peregrine falcon flying

1. me hitting a pitch shot at the country club
2. Portuguese man o war.  the captain of our boat said you don't want to mess with these things, they will sting the shit out of you.
3.  our POS rental car.  The tires were worn to the cords, and blew.  What a mess, because the lug wrench was missing from the car!  The hotel manager ended up changing the tire for us.
4.  the beach, pre-dawn
5.  Sam putting
6.  boat at the marina

What did you guys do on the boat? Was it like a tour or something? How warm was the water?

it was a dolphin watching tour.  Tour the bay, see dolphins, go out into the Gulf, get a little sea sick, go back  uglylol  For $13 it was very good.

The water in the gulf was not very warm.  After I got kicked, I stood in the water for a couple minutes, it was cold enough it felt like an ice pack, I could only stand it for a couple minutes.  I'm sure the water in the bay was much warmer, but I never went into it.

I'd definitely go back.  I might go after spring break instead of before, maybe it would be a bit warmer and so would the water.

Seems hard to predict the weather at all in those areas, ive been keeping an eye on places in FL, could be 60 when you go there this time of year, could be 79, its a roll of the dice, but it is with any trip really. In 08 at ID the sun was so hot i couldnt pick up a wrench that was laying on the trailer in the sun, then 09 i was wishing i brought my winter coat at some points when i was freezing under the canopy
