I know that the Wii doesnt offer standard dvd playback, but Ive read a little bit about the "homebrew channel" mod which allows you to play DVD's.  Has anyone done this and had good luck with it?

Buy a laptop, that 4200 will have a quality video out, get the wtfdellconnector to hdmi and your golden

I'm not really sure what i want to do for a laptop yet, and I'm not really ready to spend the money one one yet anyway.  It also doesn't help that the sweet TV in my hotel room here doesn't have an HDMI input or even a S-Video input.  Just a coax, and a rca, which doesn't even have stereo, just a mono audio input.  Who knows what Ill have in barrow, but its best to keep the options open.
