I went through a few pics tonight and picked out a few. I literally probably have 1500 from my D90, and Sam took a ton with my Dad's D40 too. We have some from the waterproof camera from white water rafting as well. Phew, will be a lot of work. The names should give enough info on location shot. As you can see, it was a bit cloudy at beartooth, and we were literally driving through the clouds. Not great for pics unless you love the color gray I shot almost all of the scenery pictures with my cheap 18-55 VR Nikon lens. I had my 18-200 on the D40 for Sam to use, so I was switching between the 18-55 and my 80-200 f2.8.

the sunrise shots in Yellowstone were a lucky side affect of the road between Madison and Norris being closed. had to drive all the way down and around the south loop to get to the north east entrance, so we got to see sunrise over Yellowstone Lake.

I totally forgot about this one already, I laughed my ass off when I saw it in Bozeman at the mountain Sam went paragliding off of.

Wow, im blown away by those pics! I'd have to say your getting pretty good with the camera, make mine from my trip look like crap. The bearstooth one, almost doesnt look real. Must be the photo, but looks so weird with how the snow and rocks is right by the greenery. How did you get that? Is the greenery way below in the valley and you just lined up the shot like that?
More Tetons pics! Even just seeing those, i know whenever i end up going all im going to think is how cool it would be to climb them to the top. If i lived in a more appropriate area, i would love to do climbing
The dog crap guy, i remember seeing cars in Brookpark years ago that were the same thing, only they were brand new Beetles. I wonder if the business ever succeeded

it was snowy just at the very top, 1000 or 2000 feet of elevation lower it was green and lush.

1. brink of the lower falls near Canyon 2. another 3. The marina at our campgrounds in GTNP 4. The lower falls. You can barely see the people on the right at the top, very tiny. That's where I shot the brink pictures form 5. Mount Moran as seen from Jenny Lake in GTNP 6. a nice mule buck that we saw eating around our campsite.

it's a 4 shot panoramic. I stitch them together using a program called Auto Stitch, then crop them to size.

1. Ben's favorite. This guy came right up to the car and bellowed at me. He didn't like it when I hit him with the flash on the camera 2. This was a cool hike. 8 or 10 switchbacks followed by 328 steel mesh stairs down into the canyon to see the lower falls. This was off the south rim trail at Canyon. 3. another 4. Shot of the lower falls.

Were there trails to take to go up into the Tetons? Or marked ones to climb them? I wonder if you would need actual rock climbing gear and skills to go up them
Was there a hotel at that marina?
