That was a really good trip!
Thursday there was no one but us and I think one lonely guy on the dunes. They were perfect and smooth for the most part. The dunes all had some pretty good peeks. Windy as hell, which was good for making the dunes smooth. Not Idaho smooth, but smooth enough for Silver lake!
Friday was a little busier, dunes were wet from the night before, but not bad.
Saturday we golfed in the morning and it was fun. then got to the dunes around lunch time and the parking lot was pretty full. lots of local drag banshees and such out that day. Dunes werent so bad because of the wind, even with a good size crowd out there.
All in all, was a really good time and weather was great!

yea this was a pretty good trip.  The amazing part is, we made it home in under 10 hours  shocked   We left at 830 CDT and pulled into Dusty's driveway around 5:50pm, unloaded his stuff, and I was back at my house at 6:30 pm.  Nice!

Agreed.  It was a good time and we had zero travel issues.  My quad ran well, which was nice because I was a little worried having not ridden it all year other than around the neighborhood.

I picked up a 99db DASA for my YFZ.  The header is a bit bigger than the HMF, and is 3 stepped instead of 2 stepped like the HMF.  top end power was about the same, however, I felt like the DASA would leave harder than the HMF and was 1-2 lengths quicker by the end of the ~500-600 foot drag area at SL due to that.  I would say the sound output was about the same, although I didn't have the sparky in for the DASA.

Some of the tubing welds on the DASA were pretty iffy.  When you looked on the inside, it looked like bird shit lining the welds, which definitely hurts flow.  The system looks really nice, and the header fit much better than the HMF  Gives thy a finger yea yea I know that was a mistake on 10 headers.  All in all, they are pretty close, and I think the HMF system would be the clear winner if they'd get me one of their Prowler head pipes for the comp can which would let my built motor breathe a bit more.
