Holy crap, Danny kick ass!      I love quads and sleds but there is something with a motorcycle that you can't get with anything else and its addicting.  Now Danny knows how I felt the day I brought home my new bike this year:)    slayer slayer

For sure

Can't even explain the feeling of going down the road on it for the first time. Rode it to class the other night, was nice.  Unfortunately I gotta wait for my tail tidy kit to come in before I can ride it again.  The previous owner did a hack job of eliminating the rear fender and the little piece of sheet metal holding the license plate on almost fell off by the time I got home.  He had these real cheap and cheesy LEDs for turn signals anyways that weren't visible at all in the sunlight, so this setup will be much better.

Its killing me cause I could have rode it last night and today!  Good thing we are atv riding this weekend since I probably won't get the kit until Monday or so.

Little update...

Tail tidy is on and working/looking great.  Didn't drive my truck from tuesday afternoon - saturday morning last week, was great.  I'm all geared up, got my joe rocket jacket and pants (needed pants because khakis are DAMN cold when riding in 50s in the morning).  If I had some better gloves, I could ride in colder weather no problem.

Was scheduled to take the BMV test today, but tried the course out last friday and knew I didn't have a shot.  Got in a motorcycle safety course last night, so if all goes well, I should have my endorsement soon.  slayer

Oh yeah, still love the bike

The safety class is the way to go IMO.  You learn some things and then, provided everything goes smoothly and you pass the tests, you get your endorsement right there.  Best of luck Danny.

Good stuff Danny!   I rode in this morning with my insert in my jacket and was completely fine.  If you get some gloves get some all leather and you will be fine on that front too.

Put my pinlock visor on with the anti-fog insert and it is soooo much better, not a lick of fog.

I rode everyday this week to work, Monday morning it was 34* when I left the house    Im more afraid of cold tires then staying warm at that point.

34?  damn!  Here I was thinking I'm tough shit for riding in mid 40s this morning to work.

Actually wasn't that bad at all except for my hands.  I think I might get a set of these, they have great reviews.

I also highly recommend something like this for anyone else.  The neck part isn't that freakishly long either (as least mine isn't).  It is just right.

Yeah, I have a "Baraclava" that I wear at times too.  I have ridden in the morning when it is in the low 30's and it just sucks.  But then when you ride home and it is in the mid 50's, you realize it was worth it because the riding season is just not long enough where we live.  Like Chris said, I worry more about the tires in that instance, but you don't really need warm tires when you are keeping the bike straight up and down.  LOL

How funny there is a pug in the picture.  Sweet looking bike, but who would pick BLUE?  Awful color.

I sat on a full-fairing sv650, but prefer the more upright position of a standard bike.

Whats weird was when I was looking for bikes a month ago or so, one of the ads had a pug in it too.  They must help sell, haha.

Only had the one classroom session so far, so no update.  Next classes are 8-3 tomorrow and sunday, 2 great days for them.

Spring?  Fall is the time to buy!  I bet you would pay about $1000 more in the spring.
