Damn, that's good to know for the future.  I already bought a tire from bike bandit, and although it was only about $2 more, I had to pay $9 for shipping.  I had a $15 gift card I needed to use there anyways but will definitely check that site out in the future, thanks.

Bought a pair of these the other day and love 'em.

I wanted something that offered some protection and I could comfortably wear as a sneaker too.  After reading lots of reviews, these seem to be far and away the best, especially at $100.  After wearing them, its like wearing boots on a quad where you don't want to ride without them now.  The velcro straps keep the shoe laces from flopping around and also help lock your ankle in place too.  Very happy with the boots and would recommend them.

I have something similar to these if not this exact boot for the street.  They are waterproof as advertised and that is nice.  The times I have been caught out in the rain, I haven't had to worry about my feet getting wet.  They do kind of look like Napoleon Dynamite moon boots though.     I have definitely thought about getting something more like what Danny has and might do that when the time comes to replace what I have.  I like to where something that offers some kind of protection on the street without it being a full blown race boot.

Damn those are nice, mighta got those instead but still real happy with what I got.

Haha @ napolean dynamite boots, Dusty.  Mine aren't waterproof but a guy in the review said he just used some waterproof spray on his and his feet stayed dry even in some pretty heavy rain.  These shoes breathe which is nice, and feels great while riding.

I have the same ones as Josh does but the high ankle version.  Great boots, I can easily wear them casually and they dont feel too moto boot like.  Even though I could prob. wear my moto boots all day too:)   Sweet part about them is the quick zipper on the inside of the heel.  unzip it and you can slide right out of them and dont have to undo the buckles and laces.

I like those tall ones Cberg, seems like a lot of added protection.  Wish they came in tan.

Since this is the only active thread I will jack it   Got some CRG mirrors and wasn't sure how to mount them so I got the bar ends machined down.  It's pouring right now so this was just a test fit, came out pretty good.  Hopefully they work pretty good.

Yea after a friend of mine wrecked..  bought those the following week.  Used to ride in my DC's all the time  The thought of my outside ankle bone scraping on the pavement under a 400lbs bike just made me cringe.

Yeeecht, that just made me shiver.   Vomit

My boots are even raised near the ankle for extra protection there.

Man I don't think I could ride with those, Josh.  You just have 1?  I like being able to see whats in my mirrors.

I have one for the passenger side as well.  We'll see how they work out but I read a lot of reviews that said they are very useful actually.

I agree Pro-Tapers would look sweet...
