she was the office manager at  the place were i work ,Four Seasons Windows and Siding, she had embezzled a rather large sum of money  plus had been using the company credit card  to buy things for her self and family. today the cops went to her house and hauled her away to jail and the cops went in and took away all the stuff she had purchased .

and it looks like she never paid any taxes on the money she took.  and to top it all off its not the first time she had done embezzlement.

A former office manager at a Clare County business was charged Wednesday with embezzlement and another felony.

Farwell resident Renee Ann Alana, 39, who worked for Four Seasons Windows is in the Clare County Jail on $100,000 bond, according to court records.

Magistrate Rick LaBoda arraigned Alana on a charge of embezzlement between $50,000 and $100,000, a 15-year felony that could also be punishable by $25,000 or three times the amount embezzled, whichever is greater; and larceny by conversion, a five-year felony that could also be punishable by $10,000 or three times the value of the property stolen, whichever is greater, according to court records.

Alana is accused of stealing from her employer, Neil Satterlee, who hired her three years ago, not knowing she was on probation for three prior convictions.

Because Clare County Prosecutor Michelle Ambrozaitis put Alana on habitual offender notice, her sentence could be enhanced if she is convicted of the charges.

A hearing to determine if there is enough evidence for Alana to stand trial was set for 2 p.m. Dec. 13 in 80th District Judge Joshua Farrell's Harrison courtroom.

Satterlee said he reported Alana to police in August and that he is bothered by the fact that she was on probation but the state did not inform him of her prior convictions during her employment at Four Seasons Windows.

Alana was convicted in Ingham County of false pretenses between $1,000 and $20,000.

She was sentenced in August 2009 to probation.

She also has two uttering and publishing convictions in Ingham County, according to Michigan Department of Corrections records
