I was wondering why my cd burner didn't want to work

after 2 hours of messing around with cables, different drives, etc, I discovered this. Not sure if its for sure the cause, but I can't imagine a PC with half of the capacitors on its motherboard leaking is very stable. Most of the ones that aren't leaking have bulging tops. Last Epox motherboard I ever buy....

guess its all I needed to motivate myself to build a new PC in one of those micro cases I was looking at. I don't want a big clunker PC anymore. I'll probably keep the hard drives, processor, and memory I have, and sell my loud video card and go from there.

no 64 bit OS yet. I'll wait until the good shit comes out and just use what I have for now.

but the OS isn't. The real benefit will be when the OS goes 64 bit, and the processors will be twice as fast as they are now.
